Most toothpastes have an ingredient that acts like detergent in susceptible individuals and makes us more prone to canker sores.  That ingredient is sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). Change toothpastes to one without SLS and most of your canker sores will disappear.  It will take a while though.  Your mouth has to recover.</description>
