Our health is founded upon a relationship between body, mind and spirit.   The wellness of each part  and the physical body itself is only one component in the overall equation of well-being. This principle of holistics recognises that a stress free and happy mind and a blossoming spiritual life are major factors in our physical health. Just as stress and negative emotions silently erode our life force, so too the practice of meditation releases a new and positive life force,  borne of inspiration, happiness, peace  into every part of our existence, creating the optimum conditions for vitality and health. With meditation even our sleep pattern can change  an improvement in quality, a likely reduction in quantity. More time and energy to live our lives!

Everything Starts Within

The way we feel and function in our outer life is determined to a very great extent by our inner life …… our happiness, our confidence, our moods, our consciousness. We often have little power to change events in the outer world, but we can change the way we react to them. When we are happy and calm, difficulties and problems are easily coped with.  When we are anxious or unhappy, the same difficulties can become nightmares. Our whole experience of life is colored by our own consciousness and  our life is the creation of our minds! Meditation balances the inner and outer worlds and brings out the bright colors of our nature …….joyfulness, serenity, loving kindness, strength. These emerging positive qualities reshape our very experience of life, for everything starts within.

The writings of all the great sages and pathfinders over the centuries share many recurring ideas and truths. One of these is a belief in the wisdom and beauty of the human soul. Sri Chinmoy describes the soul as our ‘inner pilot’ ……it is our highest Self, our truest Self, our in-house life guide. The more we listen to our soul, the more our outer life will flourish and prosper  and it is in the silence and stillness of meditation that the wisdom of the soul can most easily be felt and experienced. In everything of life …. decision-making, problem solving, the search for fulfillment and purpose . The inner pilot is there to show us the way and we can learn to access it through our deepening practice.

The Soul’s Special Promise

The great sages also tell us that each soul is unique and has something very special to accomplish on earth. It is by listening to our ‘inner pilot’ that we begin to feel and understand what our life’s deeper purpose is and then our outer life becomes increasingly in harmony with this knowledge. The discovery and fulfillment of the soul’s special promise brings us great happiness.

Power of mind:

The many techniques employed in learning meditation share a common theme and that is harnessing and concentrating the power of the mind. By-products and benefits of this effort are numerous and they are …an ability to focus and concentrate quickly, enhanced memory, a stillness in the meditating mind which enables us to access deeper, intuitive, creative and inspirational parts of our being. Power of Heart.

Sri Chinmoy places great emphasis on the spiritual heart in our quest for happiness, for it houses many of our most powerful spiritual qualities. A widening, deepening capacity for love; compassion for others; a oneness with all of life; inner wisdom; a desire less happiness, like the fragrance of an inner flower, spreading out into our life ….. a treasure trove waiting to be discovered! Sunset over the ocean. The heart is an egoless, unhorizoned consciousness and living ‘in the heart’ is one of the secrets of real happiness. One of the principle forms of yoga is bhakti yoga and that is centered in the spiritual heart as well. Here, the power of devotional love is directed out to God and sees divinity in all things.

A Peaceful Life

Meditation will make you a very peaceful person. This peace comes about through a growing self-acceptance and self-confidence, and through an inner poise that comes from a deeper part of our being. This peace is not something passive and fragile. It is very powerful and dynamic. This kind of inner peace will lift you above success, failure, the positives and negatives of life . it leaves in us an adamantine poise and a sense of calm detachment in the face of life’s changing fortunes and tribulations. People who have developed inner peace are very powerful.

Awakening

Meditation is the awakening to our true nature, a spiritual path to enlightenment, self-realisation, oneness with God. This is why one should always feel gratitude for the impulse to meditate . We have consciously begun the great journey of awakening that lies at the very heart of all human life.

Tips for Exercising in the Cold

When the temperature drops, you need to adjust your exercise program. Here are 3 ways to keep moving.Follow these tips to stay safe when it’s cold out:

1. Layer it on. The secret to exercising in cold weather is dressing properly, preferably in lightweight layers you can add or remove as needed and as weather conditions shift. A thermal layer next to your skin will wick moisture away. Add a wool layer for insulation, then one that resists wind and water, but “breathes” so that perspiration doesn’t build up. Clothes with zippers let you cool off during a workout as well as adjust to changes in the weather. A hat prevents loss of body heat through the top of your head. For warmth, mittens are better than gloves. On bitter, cold days, you should also cover up your face.

2. Drink plenty of fluids — you perspire exercising in the cold too. But don’t drink alcohol; it dilates your blood vessels, causing you to lose heat more rapidly.

3. Do your warmup, stretching, and cooldown inside. Start your workout facing into the wind so that you will work hardest when you are fresh and will avoid having it blow in your perspiring face and body on your return. Don’t stand around in your damp clothes afterward; go inside right away. Finally, when it’s icy underfoot, avoid the risk of a fall by working out indoors.

Sadness & Depression is Unhealthy

[amazon_link asins=’1785920561,0994002750,0465042384,0195113861,0190260963,B00XM7LEYE,1500464767,0553418378′ template=’ProductCarousel’ store=’finmeacur-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’8a1152a6-0c4f-11e7-ac07-35aa417b4081′]

What contributes frowning to one’s face? Is it not sadness? This state of being is one of the many reasons why people who have emotional breakdown put their lives at risk. When deeper sadness or depression consumes the individual, illness and disturbance clog his mind and feelings.

CLICK & SEE

Most people who suffer from depression or extreme sadness are affected with the way they deal with their fellow man. Depressed people are sensitive and demand special attention. At times, depression swallows them and affects their relationship with other people, particularly their families and those who stay closer to them.

You have your ups and downs, but for the most part, you are moderately happy. There’s no burning desire to change your life. You’d probably have an uplifting effect on someone who is less happy than you, but at the same time, you could benefit if you associated with those happier than yourself.

Enthusiasm is a feeling similar to happiness but the emotion involved is intense. Enthusiasm is often associated with divine inspiration, an intense emotion deeper than happiness itself. However, our society’s status these days hinders people from being enthusiasts. Instead, many are grieving and saddened with what they see in the surroundings and in the whole world. Most people who were victimized by wars and social problems find enthusiasm impossible to feel. Why, even the richest people on earth feel sad at times. If this is the case, is it true that enthusiasm is elusive?

Many sigh because of sadness and bad experiences. We can say that indeed, happiness or enthusiasm is a relative state of being. This is the reason why many people resort to illicit drugs, thinking that they can escape the bitter experiences they are experiencing. They thought they can fake happiness for a few hours. Little did they know that no matter how difficult life is, happiness is still available and waiting to be rediscovered.

How can you promote and contribute to enthusiasm and happiness?

1. Set goals and seek life’s purpose. Happiness cannot be achieved overnight so starting early means experiencing happiness the soonest.

2. Take away all the bitterness you kept for years. Learn to say sorry and accept your limitations.

3. Keep your life simple by allotting time for you to relax and enjoy wholesome recreation.

4. Learn to develop self-worth. Love your deeds and do favors for yourself. Adopt changes if necessary and if you feel like you are bored in doing routines.

5. Humbly accept others support and appreciate small gifts from them.

6. Try rendering support or reciprocating the kindness shown to you.

7. Develop hobbies that will contribute to your self-worth. Some women and housewives, for instance, love gardening. They at times talk to their plants. They find this rewarding in most ways.

8. Read some inspirational books. Keep simple but inspiring messages and share these to others. Remember that giving brings joy to every person; learn the value of generosity at all times.

9. Constantly communicate to others your inspiring and up building stories. Learn to accept feedbacks from your listeners.

10. Learn to be flexible, accept the fact that everything does not just happen the way you think everything should be.

Keeping these simple things in mind, I can say that happiness and enthusiasm are not that difficult to find. Many people pay huge amounts of money just to have the opportunity to gain worthwhile experiences. In the end, these people are convinced that the real happiness they seek cannot be bought. It can be achieved in many ways; but to find it, they must be humble enough to compromise some wants in exchange of the need to be happy.Always try to get rid of GRID. Grid and desire are not same.Grid will make you unhappy but desire will encourage you to succeed and success will give you happiness.

DOING REGULAR YOGA EXERCISE & PRANAYAMA  UNDER THE GUIDELINES  OF AN EXPERT WILL BE THE BEST MEDICINE FOR GETTING OUT OF MENTAL DEPRESSION.

True happiness is a choice You have to make.It is a state of being only you can create withen you.Finding happiness is like finding yourself.Happiness cannot be found , it is to be made, Sorrow and happiness are the two state of mind move side by side.People who are unccessful in life may think that successful people are happy but actually it is not.Success or achievement can give very short lasting Happiness but Peace of mind is a long lasting one. Unless there is peace of mind, achieving success is also very difficult.

Young people those who are at the threshold of their carrier may think one should have tremendous zeal or desire to reach the goal and then only one can succeeed .But if he is happy with what he has or what he is now,how he can reach the goal. According to me they are wrong …one must have zeal or desire to go high up in life that is 100% true to get success. But that doesnot mean that one should be unhappy with his present. Rather I say, it is the peace of mind and happyness that gives more impetass to achieve the goal. And for this one should exert with full persiverance with a good body, good mind and good sole.

Greedy people are unhappy people. It is to be learned that greed and desire are not the same.GREED leads to unhappiness but DESIRE leads to goal, success and ultimately happiness.

A person who has a good physic(doesnot get ill of and on), who can controle his mind (does not get angry for triffles or gets upset in failure),who can tolerate different situations and have a defenite goal and strong desire will surely suceed in life and will be happy  afterwards.

A GOOD HEALTH IS THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOOD MIND AND GOOD SOLE  AND HAPPINESS RESIDES IN IT.
